Create Calendar for Intranet

I am looking to put a calendar on our local intranet site. There will be about 3 people who are going to be editing the entries for this calendar. I have looked at Google Calendar but one problem with that is everyone needs to create a google account to edit the calendar. Is there any software or another way to create a calendar so I can log in and edit from within the intranet site? Also I would like to add a search function so people can search for specific events. I am working on Mac OS X 10.4.11, so if it's only for windows I can't use it. Thanks.

I'm not an OS X person. However, have you looked at any group calendar software packages that run on OS X such as Chronos SOHO Calendars.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Yeah, I am not a mac person either, but that's what my work uses. If we had windows, I would already know about 5 different ways to do this! Oh well. I think we may just end up using iCal.

HTMLCal

I helped a bank that had several branches setup an internal calendar. I recommended HTMLCal (http://www.htmlcal.com).
