Trouble viewing Index in design mode

I'm having trouble using Design mode with just my "Index.htm". I only get to view as far as <table>. Everything is there in code and preview mode. And it post fine to the server. All the other pages show up fine in design mode and I've tried every view option I can think of. Is there something I'm missing?

Is this in Dreamweaver?

Yes, in dreamweaver, sorry. When I open up the index page in design mode it shows the background and table boarders and that's it. There's a ton more stuff on it but it simply doesn't show up. I recently went from 2002 to 2004. But other than that nothing has changed. I really don't know enough about code to make the daily edits that way.

You would need to post the code for us to get a clue why it's not showing up.
