how do i add more features to a browser in VB

I have made a simple browser in VB express Edition 2008... it functions like IE, it can open html files DEDICATED for IE... Is there anything that i can do to this browser to stop this from opening files DEDICATED for IE.....pls help

You have to decide which browser will open specific file extensions and set those values in the registry. That will become the default. That said, the default doesn't always prevail in a manner similar to using Word, Wordpad or Notepad to open a text file.
