Hi Bev,

Sure, here's the basic point: If you are building tooling for the IT domain, you will have reporting challenges like any other problem domain. These challenges will look in part like standard business intelligence/decision support type issues. But another major part that is harder to deal with is the issue of interconnected data, very common in CMDBs.
