Change Management

Hi All,

I owe an Apology in Advance if I am wasting your precious time with my queries.

I have a question on change success criterion, is a backed out change a successfull change?

To me any change that fails to acheive its objective is a failed change, but again , my backout plan did work :-)

Please advise...

My personal opinion is that if you do not achieve the objective of the change request it should not be considered successful...even if you backed out successfully and restored the system to its previous state.
