I'm doing my MSc project on Content Management, and would be very grateful if you could help me by completing a short anonymous questionnaire.

Background to the Questionnaire

I'm a Technical Author. Technical Authors are increasingly involved in performance support and content management projects, with many moving away from traditional manual or on-line help authoring.

In my experience, the tools used on these projects are often imposed on the team, with little or no discussion of whether they are appropriate. It would be nice to have a clearer picture of the available alternatives in these situations, as it would enable us to argue our case more effectively when the wrong tool has been chosen.

I hope that this questionnaire provides some insight into the Content Management Systems we are currently using, and their comparitive merits.

I'd also appreciate any feedback you have on the questionnaire, and on the subject of Content Management generally.
