Otter Online

i was very happy yesterday to find the otter cms online. the cms tutorial by Peter Zeidman is one of the most practical examples on oop and building a personal cms system which i found on web or in books till now. thx a lot for this. through this i was able to improve my programming knowledge and bundle a lot of my facilities in a more proper way.

its amazing to read the source of the otter cms and to have the chance to understand the structur and organisation of more complex systems. so it would be very nice to go on with the tutorials. a bit more information than reading the comments would be nice... .. maybe through discussion here or some small tuts about the ideas and concepts of the different ottercms parts (for example: how works the templater, the modul tool,the filemanager in detail etc) are there people with the same interest ? and can i convince Peter Zeidman to write part 7 of the tutorial ?

Hi all Yes I would like to see more tutorials or may be a book or ebook
explaining the "New Otter CMS"
How long before the Documentation is available I would love to install the latest version but it does not install correctly on my server but I am working very much in the dark.
What I can get up and running looks great and offers much promise, I have reviewed the original tutorial but it is too diferent to act as documentation for the new otter cms.

Thanks for your kind words.

You are correct in saying the OtterCMS is too far from the tutorial for it to act as documentation. There won't be any more articles for the time being, as I'll be working on the system - guides explaining the basic features will be out by the end of next week, a "what's changed" guide for IntranetJournal readers will be available after that. I hope they make things a little clearer.
