Intranet Misuse Statistics

Hello,

We are in development of a new company intranet using a wiki. There is some push back because users are allowed to comment and post on certain pages.
Does anyone know where I can find statistics or information about the actual rate of employee misconduct when it comes to posting on company intranets? I feel like it is not as prevalent as the powers at be think.

I've never seen any stats about intranet misuse. Most of the available material is about misuse prevention, policies and procedures, internal security and countermeasures. A search on these topics will provide you with a vast selection of reading material.

The white papers and case studies are scattered. You might start with organizations that cater to your industry such as IEEE for engineering.
