Problem:
I am publishing content to Intranet through CMS.
Currently CMS is a complete solution for publishing and retriving Published content.
My question is what if CMS is down?
What are the alternative ways to publish the content in Intranet and What is the alternative to show published content which is in CMS?
If you CMS is down that means that you have a problem with either your page coding or a database error. If it is a database error then there is nothing you can do until it is fixed. If it is a page coding issue then you could develop standin pages. However, in reality you should spend your time trying to fix the problem instead of trying to put temp solutions in. This is the reason why when developing a CMS you must TEST TEST TEST and then TEST. Try to break you CMS so that you know its limits. This will also help in troubleshooting for future issues.
