Exclamation Sharepoint (MOSS) 2007 - My site, public page - Please help!

I'm using MOSS (Sharepoint) 2007 and have a problem with My Site.

When a user logins in to My Site for the first time, a "My Site" is
generated by the SP system. However, the template contains a lot of
information and web parts that my client wishes to remove (client thinks
users will be confused due to information overflow...). There are also new
web parts that my team has created that we would like to include on the
customized My Site.

I have found out that if I use the superadmin account and make changes in the "My Site", other users' my site are affected. That is the private part of My Site, i.e. My Profile, changes according to the superadmin account's look n' feel. However, the public part, i.e. My Home, does not change according to the changes in the superadmin my site.

Have you got any ideas on how to make the public part look the same
across the company?

Can I create my own template for My Site/My Home? I want my own predefined My Site-template to be generated instead of the
default My Site. How do I accomplish this?

I do not want to change the existing template, since this is not supported by Microsoft.

Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
