It actually does very little. I joined the do not call list almost 10 years ago when it first came out, and have renewed it twice since. I still got plenty of telemarketing calls on my landline, and I reported each and everyone. I still repeatedly got calls from the same company. I finally ditched my landline for VO IP.

The advertising through mobile phones is too irritating. It should be prevented. If some time customer has to pay for it.It is too bad. Some times the advertising cause some problems to customers. That 's why i hate the advertising to cell phone .
is that the same as sending text message ads? That's annoying if the person has pay as you go charge plan. It means the recipient is paying for unwanted ads.
