I have encountered such problem before on my newly build laptop.
I've tried every possible approaches but failed.
But finally I found the root cause: the system date was set 1 year behind after installing the Live Messenger. Then I just simply change the year setting and got fixed.
I was not sure if it's set by me unintentionally or it's just a software bug. As # 3 mentioned that it could be incorrect system date. But, it's very tricky that the day and time were both correct.
Anyway, you can simply check the date settings first.
